HISTORY:

At the September 19, 2002, Design Review Board meeting, the application for a business sign at 55 Main Street was reviewed by the Board. At that meeting the Board considered the request, and suggested modifications to the sign that would make it more appropriate for downtown Tiburon. The Board continued the item to the October 3, 2002, meeting so the applicant could present a modified application to the Board. At the meeting on October 3, 2002, the applicant did not present a modified application to the Board, so the Board found that the project was still inconsistent with downtown Tiburon. Therefore the Board directed Staff to draft a resolution of denial for the proposed project.

RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that the Board adopt the attached resolution denying the appeal.
