BACKGROUND

This application was submitted for review at the June 13, 2001 regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission. The item was continued to the July 11, 2001 at the applicants’ request in order to allow them time to develop revised plans. The applicants have submitted no new plans or information to Staff since the June 13^th meeting, however. Please review the June 13, 2001 Staff Report, a copy of which is attached for your convenience. Please bring plans, previously distributed to the Commission, to the July 11^th meeting.

RECOMMENDATION

The Planning Commission should take public testimony on this item, close the public hearing, deliberate upon the project’s merits, and direct Staff to prepare an appropriate resolution for consideration at the next meeting.
