BACKGROUND

This item received extensive public input and Commission discussion at the September 27, 2000 Planning Commission meeting. Adopted minutes from that meeting are attached as Exhibit 1.

The Planning Commission expressed numerous concerns with the project as proposed. These included the access road entry point from Trestle Glen Boulevard; the number of homes; size, height and appearance of the homes; adequacy of parking; height and visibility of retaining walls; and so forth.

Since the 9/27/00 meeting, the applicant has met with the Belveron Neighborhood. The applicant has focused on relocation of the access roadway to a position opposite Juno Road.

A revised site plan and traffic study were received by the Planning Department on November 3, too late for analysis prior to sending out the packet. The traffic study is attached as Exhibit 2. Correspondence received since the September 27, 2000 meeting is attached as Exhibit 3. The revised site plan is attached as Exhibit 4.

 

RECOMMENDATION

That the Planning Commission receive the presentation of the revised project from the applicant and provide preliminary feedback.
